Clementine’s Releases World’s Fair-Inspired Collection

The microcreamery will offer four new limited-edition flavors inspired by the 120th anniversary of the World’s Fair available online and in-store

Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Ice Cream is excited to announce the release of its new limited-edition collection for National Ice Cream Month in July. This year, the microcreamery is celebrating the 120th anniversary of the World’s Fair in St. Louis with a special collection of flavors inspired by the historic event. As the official ice cream partner for the Missouri History Museum’s new 1904 World’s Fair Exhibit, Clementine’s has created four unique pints that pay homage to the fair’s rich cultural history and impact.

The collection includes:

Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis: A sweet corn base with crunchy, buttered corn flakes, capturing the essence of summertime and the Missouri Corn Palace display at the World’s Fair.

  • Banana Split: This hand-piped ice cream pint features three marble flavors—cherry, milk chocolate, and banana—inspired by the classic Banana Split sundae, which became a beloved American dessert in 1904.

  • Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia: A rich caramel coconut ice cream with crunchy waffle cone nuggets, luscious dark chocolate bark, and a sprinkle of delicate flake salt, celebrating the popularization of the waffle cone at the fair.

  • Fairy Floss: A whimsical flavor that balances the airiness of traditional cotton candy, known as "fairy floss" when it debuted at the World’s Fair, with the velvety finish of malt.

These delightful flavors will be available for purchase online starting Monday, July 1, and in-person at one of Clementine’s eight scoop shop locations in the St. Louis and Illinois areas on National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 21. A portion of the proceeds from the World’s Fair pint sales will be donated to the Missouri History Museum.

To commemorate the 120th anniversary of the World’s Fair, Clementine’s will hand out 120 free scoops beginning at 10 AM at the History Museum, along with free t-shirts while supplies last. Additionally, the first 50 people in line at the parlors will receive a free limited edition t-shirt (one shirt per transaction).

Tamara Keefe, founder and flavor temptress of Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Ice Cream, is thrilled to celebrate St. Louis’ rich food and cultural history through this special collection. “The 1904 World’s Fair is deeply ingrained in St. Louis’ culture. I wanted to honor the city that Clementine’s originated in by incorporating one of the world’s greatest historical events into a month, and day, that means so much to our brand,” says Keefe. “There was so much innovation that came out of the World’s Fair, from the invention of cotton candy, or 'fairy floss,' to the year banana splits became an iconic American dessert. The ice cream cone was also widely popularized at the fair, so we have big ice cream origins in St. Louis to pay tribute to.”

Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Ice Cream and indulge in these delightful flavors that honor a significant event in St. Louis’ history. Don’t miss out on these limited-edition pints—get yours online or at a scoop shop location while supplies last!
